Beauty Haul! Sephora Treats! Ulta & Target!

Beauty Haul!

Beauty Haul!

I TOLD you guys I have a shopping problem shopping solution!
Here’s another package of Sephora treats I got in the mail that I’m excited to test out! I also went to Ulta and picked up some things & got some great free gifts! The two Princess mugs are from Target – EXTREMELY hard to find. They were part of the Valentine’s Day merchandise, hence the Convo Hearts, but sold out super fast! I don’t believe they are being sold anymore, not even in the clearance section. My mom was able to find these on Ebay. I’ve seen people use them to hold makeup brushes, but I already have brush holders, so I’ll have to find some other makeup related use for them!

Here’s a list of the products featured here. Click on the links to purchase them for yourself!
1. COVER FX Custom Cover Drops in G20
2. Murad Invisiblur(TM) Perfecting Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 30
I think I’m going to use the “Murad” & “Cover FX Drops” together. If you follow me on Instagram: @MissAl_Leigh you will see I don’t have great skin. I’ve seen actual breakouts clear up a lot recently since I started eating clean and exercising but I’m still left with quite a bit of dark spots and uneven texture. In an effort to appear “flawless” I use a lot of face products in my makeup routine. This works pretty well until my temperature rises any little bit and my face gets super oily, resulting in cakey, clumpy looking makeup. The Murad Invisblur Perfecting Shield is supposed to replace acne treatment medication, primer, and SPF. The Cover FX Custom Cover Drops allows foundation pigments to blend with your non-pigmented products and create custom coverage without altering the texture of the product. By combining the two, I will create a tinted acne treatment/primer/SPF that will cut down on the different types of products I’m layering on top of each other that create that cakey look. Combining these products will also be a great time saver as I’ll only be using 2 products.
3. stila “Beauty in Bloom” Convertible Color Trio
stila Convertible Color in Camellia
stila Convertible Color in Peony
– stila Convertible Color in Tulip
4. NYX Matte Lipstick in Angel
5. Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray
6. Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream in Vanilla
7. ULTA Sugar Scrub in Freshwater Mist
8. China Glaze, Avant Garden Collection in Create A Spark (This was a steal in clearance!)
9. tarte Gift Pack
tarte Brazilliance™ Skin Rejuvenating Maracuja Self Tanning Face Towelettes
tarte LipSurgence™ Lip Gloss in Flush
10. Too Faced, Reality Stars Favorites 2
Shadow Insurance Primer
Better Than Sex Mascara
Perfect Eyes Eyeliner
11. Urban Decay, The Ultimate Pair
Revolution Lipstick in F-Bomb
24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil in 69
12. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in LSD
13. These are just some random brand of “Metallic Flash Tattoos”. You can find official Flash Tattoos at Sephora or all sorts of brands on Amazon.

I’m thinking about doing reviews on the “Murad” and “Cover FX” as they’re both fairly new products & I haven’t seen too many reviews on them. Let me know in the comments below if you’d like that or a review on any of these products! Click the follow button on the top right to stay updated whenever I post, thanks for reading 🙂

Fragrance Valentine's Day

Sephora Haul! 9/25/13

Last Wednesday I did some Sephora shopping, I was thinking of putting up a YouTube video haul, but I don’t have time to record a video, so I’m just gonna throw a post up here, attach some pictures from Sephora.com and explain why I made the purchases I made. Maybe you’ll see something you want to buy too – enjoy! 🙂

Sephora “Draw the Line” Eyeliner Sampler $30
I desperately needed a new black eyeliner, I used to use pencil eyeliner, but was introduced to Peter Thomas Roth “Lashes to Die For” Liner, which has SymPeptide in it to help enhance lash growth. I was a fan of the PTR Lashes to Die For serum – really saw results with that! Unfortunately I didn’t see the same results with the liner, but as I’ve gotten older I’ve strayed away from a smudgy “punk” look and now I like a more precise thin line, so the felt tip applicator was perfect for me & I wanted something more like that, but wanted to branch out in terms of brands, so this little sampler was perfect!
It contains Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner 1.2g, Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil 0.7g, Sephora Collection Long Lasting 12HR Wear Eye Liner 2.324 mL, Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Stingray 0.28g & Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner 0.25 mL, Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Double Ended Eye Pencil in Perversion & Demolition, both 0.5g

Too Faced Beauty Blogger Darlings $20
I was also on the hunt for a matte bronzer and eye-shadow primer. I had been looking at Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer, but wasn’t 100% set on it – then I saw this sampler which had the bronzer, a primer, AND Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara – something I’ve been lusting after for months after Sephora promoted it as a VIB gift, so buying this was a no brainer!
It contains Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer .4g, Primed & Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primer .5g, Better Than Sex Mascara 4.8g, Shadow Insurance Eye Shadow Primer .5g

Urban Decay 24/7 Concealer in ATF $19, Urban Decay Naked Skin Liquid Makeup in #4 $39, Urban Decay Naked Skin Pressed Finishing Powder in Naked Medium Light $34
I was looking for a new foundation routine because right now I’m using drugstore makeup, which is fine, but wasn’t really cutting it because it didn’t cover of all my acne/scars adequately unless I really caked it on. So the whole reason for this Sephora trip was to do the Color IQ and figure out exactly what shade I was and what products would work best for me. The process was really easy, you take all your make up off, put on a moisturizer, and they snap 3 pictures with the Color IQ scanner. The pictures go into the machine and it figures out your combo, I’m 3Y06 – which resulted in the purchase of the Urban Decay Naked line. The girl I worked with was less than enthusiastic about her job, but I got what I came for – new makeup – so I guess it doesn’t matter.

So that’s it! That’s all my new stuff, I’m excited to rotate these items into my everyday makeup kit. I also got a Sephora eyeliner for $5 in the little boxes by the checkout, but I didn’t think I needed to put a picture of that up. Let me know if you’ve tried any of these products, want to try them, or would be interested in a review!

Welcome! & Mail Box treats :)

Hello everyone! This is my new blog to accompany my new Youtube channel, MissPrincessAlLeigh – welcome!

As I said in the video, the products I received for free to test because I’m part of People StyleWatch A-Listers. It’s a free program that People StyleWatch has & they occasionally send out surveys about beauty products & such. Even less frequently they have opportunities to try new products. Below I’ll show pictures of the products I received except for the conditioner, b/c it looks just like the shampoo, so that everyone can get a closer look because I know the quality on the video is NOT excellent – don’t fret, I have a nice video camera…I just have to find it. 😀

Also, once again, as I said in the video, yes, I received these items for free, but I’m not being compensated by any of the companies to talk about them, nor am I affliated with these companies. Right now I’m just showing the products and saying how I feel right off the bat, a more in depth review will follow once I’ve used the products for two weeks, but I won’t be paid for that either. Okay, here we go!
